Anthony Garippo, President
 Anthony Garippo is president of Mid-America Development Services, the construction services subsidiary of The Crescendo Companies, a privately-held commercial real estate development and management company.
He joined the company in 2006 with more than 21 years of construction industry experience – most recently with retailer Crate & Barrel, where he spent more than a decade directing its construction management department. Prior to that, he worked for a development company, and for two architecture firms.
A licensed architect, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree from the University of Illinois – Chicago. He is a frequent guest lecturer at Northwestern University’s project management program, and serves on the Board of Trustees and facilities committee for Fenwick High School, Oak Park, Ill.
He resides in LaGrange Park, Ill. |

Larry Vivoda, Vice President
Larry Vivoda is responsible for the planning, bidding, scheduling and execution for The Crescendo Company’s retail, mixed-use and restaurant projects. Vivoda joined the company in 2004 with 18 years of Chicago area construction management experience, during which time he worked on major projects for Home Depot, Lowe’s, Wal-Mart and Kohl’s. He resides in St. Charles, Ill., and holds a bachelor’s degree in construction technology from Illinois State University. |

Cynthia McLeod, Senior Project Manager
Cynthia MacLeod works with The Crescendo Company’s hotel and resort projects. MacLeod joined the company in 2007 with more than 18 years of design and construction management experience. Most recently, she worked for Fordham Company, Chicago, as a senior construction manager and, earlier, director of design coordination. She is a graduate of Bauder College, Arlington, Texas, and resides in Northbrook, Ill. |

Brian Toenjes, Senior Project Manager
Brian Toenjes’ position involves full-service project management for The Crescendo Companies’ hotel projects – from inception through completion and beyond. Toenjes has more than 10 years of project management experience, most recently with Pepper Construction Company, Chicago. He holds a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Bradley University. |
